Music Class

I took a quiz in my music class last week and I was really nervous about it because I didn't have a lot of time to study. I got my quiz back today and I got 103% on it! Whoa, wasn't expecting that! Good for me! =)

College

I was really nervous to start college not because I was afraid of getting lost or challenging classes, but because I was scared my roommates would be different than me and wouldn't like me. I moved in and the only word to describe my emotions is "Phew!" My roommates are the coolest people in the world. Jenna, Sarah, and Lisa are a lot of fun and I loved my freshman year because of them. Sadly Jenna and Sarah are transferring next year to Central Connecticut State University and Fashion Institute of Technology, respectively. I'll miss them but I still had a blast with them.

Sarah has a blog too.

Broken Pinky

My whole life I NEVER broke ANY bones. It's something that I was incredibly proud of. Keyword: was. I had a gym class my senior year of high school. One day our teacher gave us the options of playing dodgeball or ping pong. None of my friends wanted to play ping pong so we all played dodgeball. I wasn't participating that much so what happened next was shocking. All of a sudden, a dodgeball comes flying towards me. I lifted my hands to protect myself and the ball just barely got me. But it did get me. It nailed me in the pinky. Almost instantly, my finger started to swell. I asked if I could go to the nurse for an ice pack because my teacher told me I probably just jammed it. Later that day, I learned that it wasn't jammed; it was broken. The dodgeball hit my finger head on and caused my bones to crush against each other and a piece of my bone chipped off underneath. So much for the whole "I've never broken a bone" thing I had going on.

Maybe I should have paid attention when I watched this movie.

Summer vacation!

I'm going on vacation with my boyfriend and his family this summer. We were originally going to fly to Florida and stay in a hotel at Disney. However, a few months ago his dog died. They are going to get a new puppy this summer. This means that we're going to drive down instead so that they don't have to leave the new puppy alone. I'm excited but I'm not at the same time because we could have gone to Colombia too if they weren't going to get the puppy. It's okay though because there's a new puppy!! =)
